You can easily add the philosophy conferences and calls for papers to your google calendar. All conferences and CFPs will be listed under the date of the event or deadline. Just do the following:
- Once you’ve logged into your google calendar account, click on “Manage Calendars” (a smallish link located on the left-hand side, under the “Calendars” block).
- This will bring up a “Calendar Settings” interface. There are 2 sections: “My Calendars” and “Other Calendars”. Under the “Other Calendars” section is a button “Add Calendar”. Click it.
- Now you’re in the “Add Other Calendar” interface. Click on the “Public Calendar Address” tab near the top right-hand side of that box.
- Now enter our vCal address in the box (which is “http://philosophyconferences.com/?ec3_vcal”).
- It will load the calendar, and now there should be a calendar listed in the left-hand side called “PhilosophyConferencesandCallsforPapers”.
You’re done! If you have trouble with this, you can email me, and I’ll do my best to help. Also, if you don’t have a gmail address (which is required to have a google calendar account), I have a bunch to give away, and I’ll be happy to give you one. Just email me!
