I was equally unable to open the links and got instead the same result as Justin reports. I can’t contribute to clarifying the history of the problem, though, since I am new on the blog. (You may still like to know that I found most of the announced conferences and CFPs with little effort on the web - which was of course a bit more inconvenient but rendered your post in fact as useful as it was intended to be.)

I am working from the same pc as I always do, and cannot read the announcements. I have had not problems in the past.

Yes, this is the first time I’ve had problems. I am working from a different computer, but I am using the same software (Windows / Explorer) as I have in the past.

Justin: So, is this the first time you’re having problems (i.e., you were able to use the links fine in the past)? If so, that’s really strange, as I haven’t made any changes to the blog that would explain the change.

I am a regular subscriber to your updates. I, too, experienced a problem with the latest round of announcements. When I click on the links (either in the e-mail announcement you send or on your blog) I get a page telling me there’s been a “404 - not found” error.
