* Family values and society
* What is the family?
* The family in the history of philosophy
* Family obligations
* Global significance of the family
* Children’s rights and welfare
* Family law & jurisprudence on family law
* Family and family partiality in ethical theory
* Sociobiology & philosophy on the family
* Relationships, emotions and sex
This is an interdisciplinary conference and seeks to attract papers on a=20
wide range of subjects from any relevant discipline.
Please submit abstracts to admin@appliedphil.org by the deadline Monday=20
January 8th 2007
(abstracts should be approximately 300 words)
