The International Association for the Study of Dreams invites proposals for presentations, lectures, and workshops at its 23rd annual conference at Bridgewater State College in Bridgewater, MA from June 20-24, 2006. The IASD is an international, multidisciplinary organization whose membership represents about 30 countries and many disciplines including: psychology, psychiatry, social work, education at all levels, religious studies, anthropology, medicine, the expressive and performing arts, literature, philosophy, humanities and business. This year the IASD is making a special effort to attract the participation of scholars in the humanities and social sciences, and welcomes proposals of topics related to dreams and dreaming in: anthropology, area studies, art history, cultural studies, education, film studies, folklore and popular culture, gender studies, history, literature and rhetoric, performance studies, philosophy, religious studies, sociology and other fields.
